Grilled Corn on The Cob
Ever wondered how to make the perfect Grilled Corn? This recipe is delicious and perfect for your summer BBQs. I've included a sauce recipe, but the corn also tastes delicious with just a little bit of butter and salt.
4 husks of sweet corn
½ cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp. olive oil
Juice of one lime
1 tbsp. chopped sweet chilies
½ tsp. garlic powder
Salt & black pepper to season
Cilantro for garnish
Soak the corn whole in cold water for 15 minutes, this will provide extra moisture for cooking and will steam the corn kernels inside the husks.
Preheat a grill to medium high 350 degrees F.
While the corn is soaking, preheat the barbecue grill to a medium temperature, 350 degrees F. After soaking, remove the corn from the water and shake off any excess water.
Pulling the husks of the corn back but do not completely remove them, remove only the silk.
Place the prepared ears of corn on a medium heat on your barbecue grill, rotating the corn as needed to keep it from getting charred too much on one side.
After a couple of turns, place the corn husk on an indirect heat and allow the corn to slowly continue cooking for approximately 15 minutes. Serve with sauce or butter and salt
Make Sauce by mixing the yogurt with olive oil, salt, pepper, lime juice and garlic powder. Stir till you get a smooth consistency.
